Terms of Sale

ArtistCircleStudio · photobusinessactivityledger.com · Last updated November 3, 2026

These terms apply when you buy the Photo Business Activity Ledger ("the Ledger") from ArtistCircleStudio ("we," "us") at photobusinessactivityledger.com. By completing your purchase, you agree to them.

1. What you're buying

The Ledger is a digital product: a planning and tracking tool for photography businesses, delivered as a download. Depending on the edition you buy, it includes:

  • Standalone edition: HTML files that open in a web browser, a sample file, and PDF guides.
  • With Claude edition: links to your Ledger and a filled-in sample hosted in Claude, getting-started instructions, and PDF guides.

Nothing physical is shipped.

2. Your license

When you buy the Ledger, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own photography business. You don't own the Ledger itself; we keep all rights to its design, code, text and guides.

You may: use the Ledger for one business, on any devices you use for that business; make backup copies of the files and of your own data; and customize it for your own use, including colors, tabs and message templates.

You may not: share, resell, give away, sublicense or post the files or links for others to use; sell, rebrand or distribute the Ledger, or anything copied or adapted from it, as your own product; or remove copyright or ownership notices.

If you'd like to use the Ledger for more than one business or for a team, contact us first. We may end your license if you break these terms. If that happens, you must stop using the Ledger and delete your copies.

Your download code. After your invoice is paid, you'll receive a personal download code for the email address you registered. Your code and registered email are your proof of purchase.

  • Keep it private. Don't share, post or resell it.
  • Give your code when you ask for support or updates.
  • One code covers one business. For another business, buy another license or contact us.
  • We may deactivate a code that's been shared, resold or used against these terms, and end that license.
  • Lost your code? Email us from your registered address and we'll resend it.

3. All sales are final

Because the Ledger is a digital product that you can download and use as soon as you pay, all sales are final and non-refundable. This includes partial use, change of mind, buying the wrong edition, or not using the Ledger.

There's no free trial or sample, so please review the product page, screenshots and welcome guide before you buy, and email christy@artistCircleStudio.com with any questions. We're happy to help you decide.

We'll make it right if:

  • You were charged more than once for the same order. We'll refund the duplicate charge.
  • Your files don't download or don't open, and we can't fix the problem or send you a working copy within 14 days of you contacting us. We'll refund your purchase.
  • A refund is required by the consumer laws where you live.

To ask about any of these, email christy@artistCircleStudio.com with your order number within 30 days of purchase.

Chargebacks. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card company; most problems can be fixed quickly. If you open a chargeback on a valid purchase, we may end your license.

4. Delivery and access

  • After you request an invoice and it's paid, you'll receive a download code by email. Enter it with your registered email on the sales page to download your edition. Save a copy of the files somewhere safe; download links expire after a few minutes, but you can request a new one with your code.
  • With Claude edition: you need your own Claude account to use it. Access to your private Ledger is given by sharing a link. If your Ledger says "saved in this browser" instead of "synced to your Claude account," contact us so we can fix your access.
  • Standalone edition: it runs in a current version of a common web browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. No account or internet connection is needed after download.

5. Updates and support

  • Updates are free for licensed users: anyone with a valid download code gets every update to the edition they bought, at no extra cost. With Claude, updates appear automatically. For the standalone edition, we'll make new files available, and you can move your data across with Export backup and Import backup.
  • We may add, change or remove features over time. We don't promise any specific future feature.
  • For help, email christy@artistCircleStudio.com. We aim to reply within 2 business days.

6. Your data

  • What you enter in the Ledger is yours. We don't collect, see or store it.
  • Standalone edition: your data is saved only in the web browser on your device. Clearing your browser data, using a different browser or a private window, or moving or renaming the file can make it look empty or erase it.
  • With Claude edition: your data is saved to your own Claude account and is private to you.
  • Backups are your responsibility. Use Export backup regularly. We can't recover lost data.
  • We only receive what you give us when you buy (such as your name, email and invoice details) or when you contact us, and we use it to deliver your purchase and support you.

7. Third-party services

  • Payments are made by invoice. Any payment service used to pay your invoice is covered by its own terms and privacy policy.
  • The With Claude edition runs on Claude, a service of Anthropic. Your use of Claude is covered by Anthropic's terms. The Ledger is not made, endorsed or supported by Anthropic. We aren't responsible for changes to Claude, its availability, or what it costs.
  • The Ledger is designed to work alongside other tools you use, such as your CRM or calendar, but it isn't connected to or endorsed by any of them.

8. Not professional advice

The Ledger is a planning tool. Price suggestions, license wording, invoice templates, profit figures, expense categories and mileage figures are general estimates to help you plan. They aren't legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Check important decisions with a qualified professional, and keep your own receipts and records.

9. No warranties

The Ledger is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, fit for a particular purpose, or compatible with every device, browser or future version of any third-party service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost data, lost income, lost bookings, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Ledger. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Ledger. Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on our website, with its date, applies to new purchases. Changes don't take away rights you already have for a purchase you've made.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Loudoun County, Virginia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
